Trade Ally NetworkThe Trade Ally Network is a list of qualified general contractors, architects, engineers and others who support TVA's energy efficiency programs. Learn more about becoming a member of the Trade Ally Network. Contribution in Aid to ConstructionWhen new electric service generates enough revenue to offset annual expenses, NES installs the required electric facilities for free. Otherwise, a Contribution in Aid to Construction (CIAC) may be required. A refund can be requested within four years of completion if new customers are connected to a line extension. New customers must provide all necessary easements, rights-of-way, and tree trimming permission and rights to NES before any line extension is constructed or service is provided. |
