Pay My BillCut-off NoticesWe don't like turning off anyone's service, but we will disconnect your electricity if you don't pay overdue bills. You will receive a disconnect notice on your bill that clearly indicates the past due amount and the date that it is due. Service may be disconnected anytime after the first notice expires. If you haven't been disconnected in the last four years, NES will also place a 3-day notice on your door. Reconnection of ServiceIf service is disconnected, you will be charged a reconnection fee. The payment of your overdue bill or a satisfactory payment arrangement is also required before service can be restored. Normal reconnection at meter
Reconnection at pole
Weather-Related Exceptions NES will not disconnect any residential customer for non-payment if the heat index is predicted to be higher than 105 degrees or if the high temperature of the day is projected to be below freezing (32 degrees). |
