Energy Assistance

Project Help

Project Help provides emergency energy assistance to elderly, disabled and low-income customers who cannot afford to pay their electric bill.  The funds are administered by Big Brothers of Nashville, Inc.

You can contribute to Project Help by simply adding $1 or more to your monthly NES bill.  One-hundred percent of the contributions go directly to assist individuals with their heating bills.

Energy Ads

Energy Ads funds are distributed to three Nashville area non-profit agencies: Big Brothers of Nashville, Inc., Metro Action Commission, and Ladies of Charity.

You'll find these money-saving coupons right inside your electric bill each month.  By using Energy Ads, you are helping someone who otherwise couldn't afford to pay for electric service during the summer months.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP)

This federally funded program provides energy assistance to low income homeowners and renters.
