We’re upgrading ways to pay your bill. During this transition, customers will be unable to make payments online or by phone between Nov. 4-6.

Pay Online

Be on alert for utility scammers. NES never calls or goes door-to-door to request personal financial information. If you're in doubt, call 615-736-6900.

NES E-bill

Go paperless with NES E-bill and pay directly from your checking account for free. Register for NES E-bill or Log In to My Account.

  • View and pay your bill online.
  • Access 13 months of billing and payment history.
  • Receive text message alerts for bill notifications and payment reminders.
  • Set up automatic payments through AutoPay.

After enrolling, you'll receive bill notifications via email. Your bill will look like the paper version you are used to getting in the mail but is generated in an electronic format. To learn more, check out our NES E-bill questions.

One-Time Payment

Make a one-time payment using a credit/debit card or electronic check. Available for residential and small commercial customers with less than 15,000 kWh per month. The processing company charges a $2.25 fee for this service.

Pay Through Your Financial Institution

Use your financial institution's online services to pay your electric bill. It may take several days for your payment to post to your NES account.
