Upcoming Changes for Property Managers

We’re improving property manager accounts to make things simpler and more efficient. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Key Changes
    • Account Consolidation: Some property managers will now have only two accounts—one for residential meters and one for commercial meters.
  • What This Means for You
    • If You Have an Auto-Reversion Code:
      • Your accounts will be consolidated into two (residential & commercial), regardless of location.
    • If You Do Not Have an Auto-Reversion Code & Own Units at the Same Location:
      • Units within a single apartment complex will be consolidated into a residential and commercial account, respectively.
    • If You Do Not Have an Auto-Reversion Code & Own Properties at Different Locations:
      • Units at different locations will not be consolidated. Your account structure remains unchanged.
  • Important Next Steps for Landlords with Multiple Bank Accounts on AutoPay
    • For Property Managers with Multiple Bank Accounts on Autopay:
      • If your accounts are consolidated and you have more than one bank account on file, NES will contact you to confirm which account you prefer for autopay drafts.
